Que nous apprend leur inscription au patrimoine mondial ? Quels enseignements pour construire ce monde que nous allons transmettre aux générations futures ? Une conférence interactive organisée autour de 20 mots clefs illustrés. Ces mots à portée universelle sont ceux des Petits Ambassadeurs de la Juridiction de Saint- Émilion.

6:00pm: «Saint-Emilion and the terroirs of the world» by Catherine Arteau, president of the Barde du Label association:
What does their inscription on the World Heritage List tell us? What lessons can we learn to build this world that we will pass on to future generations? An interactive conference organized around 20 illustrated keywords. These words of universal scope are those of the Little Ambassadors of the Jurisdiction of Saint-Émilion.

Le Grand Prix Pèlerin promeut des ouvrages qui mettent en valeur le patrimoine et les savoir-faire de nos régions. Cette cérémonie récompense deux lauréats : un pour la France et un autre pour la Nouvelle Aquitaine. / The Grand Prix Pèlerin promotes works that highlight the heritage and know-how of our regions. This ceremony rewards two winners: one for France and one for New Aquitaine.
Il sera remis dans la Salle des Dominicains en présence d’un jury de spécialistes : Catherine Lalanne, rédactrice en chef de Pèlerin, Philippe Bonnet, conservateur en chef du patrimoine, Alain Vircondelet, écrivain basé à Bordeaux et historien de l’art, Christophe Lucet, éditorialiste à Sud- Ouest, Philippe Royer, grand reporter beaux-arts et patrimoine à Pèlerin et Stéphane Compoint, photographe.
Franck Ferrand, parrain de l’édition 2019, clôturera le prix en incarnant un personnage fort de l’histoire de la région, Aliénor d’Aquitaine.

It will be presented in the Salle des Dominicains in the presence of a jury of specialists: Catherine Lalanne, editor- in-chief at Pèlerin Magazine, Philippe Bonnet, chief curator of heritage, Alain Vircondelet, writer based in Bordeaux and art historian, Christophe Lucet, editorial writer at Sud-Ouest, Philippe Royer, great reporter of fine arts and heritage at Pèlerin Magazine and Stéphane Compoint, photographer.
Franck Ferrand, patron of the 2019 edition, will close the prize by playing a key figure in the region’s history, Eleanor of Aquitaine.
