The essential tool for testing your water’s pH.
A solution has a pH of between 1 and 14. A pH of 1 to 6 is acidic, at 7 it’s neutral, and a solution with a pH of 8 to 14 is alkaline or basic.
The ideal pH for water that’s used for extraction is 7; the extracted coffee has an acidic pH between 5 and 6.
