“SAINT-PEY-D’ARMENS is the gateway to the jurisdiction of Saint-Émilion. The village is crossed by an old royal road linking Bordeaux to Bergerac, the route of which was decided during the reign of Louis XIV. It therefore represents a major asset that still facilitates trade, particularly in wine, but also in tourism.
Inherited from history, the village’s wine-growing properties evolve in the appellations Saint-Emilion and Saint-Emilion Grand Cru and are generally passed on from generation to generation.”
